About us

Although we've always loved doing crafts together, during the first Covid lockdown this became the thing that was keeping us sane, in an otherwise crazy world. 

The name Needlespeak was born from our initial starting point of framed cross stitch, as it felt like we were communicating fun and important messages through our needles. But it wasn't long before we wanted to try something new and expanded with crochet.  We now have quite a range of products from Hats, bag clips and gloves, with more ideas coming all the time! We both have important skills which work together to create our products, and we wouldn't be able to run this business without each other!

It's been an amazing journey along the way as we've taught ourselves through trial and error, writing our own patterns and creating our own designs. We take our influences from all the things we love, like bright colours, nature and animals.
